Pricing and billing
Smitline is pay as you go. You add credit, and calls use it by the second while they're connected.
What credit buys
- $10 covers about 50 minutes of phone calls to US and Canadian numbers.
- Or about 80 minutes in Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet meetings.
- A dedicated phone number of your own is optional.
You pay only while a call is connected, by the second, with no rounding up. Ringing, busy and unanswered calls are free. Time on hold and leaving a voicemail count as connected time. There's no subscription, and no phone or AI accounts to set up.
Credit
Add credit in the dashboard's Wallet, from $10. While a call runs, Smitline sets aside enough credit for it; when it ends, you pay for the seconds it was connected and the rest is released.
If your credit runs low, Smitline refuses new calls and says how many minutes you have left, with a link to add more. Your agent passes that on to you.
Seeing what you spend
- Each call's page in the dashboard shows what it cost, and so does the result your agent gets (
charge). - The Wallet lists every top-up and charge.
- Your agent can tell you your balance and this month's spending (
get_profile).
Spending limits
You set a daily and a monthly spending limit in Settings. When a limit is reached, new calls are refused until the next day or month, or until you raise it.
